2008 Summary/2009 Forecast

Our spring brown bear season was one of our best ever, except for the high winds. Jeff Jones took a 10' bear and 5 hunters took bears over 9'6" in May. My 14 hunters took 12 bears.

The fall moose hunting on the Alaska Peninsula produced 4 bulls for 8 hunters, with the largest being 69 1/2" scoring 236+.

The 2009 fall moose and bear season should produce some excellant trophies. We had 3 monster bears, that we should have sent home with a client, but it just didn't happen.
