Bear viewing/photo super cub charters are available during your fishing trips,
@ $300.00 per hour based on tach time.
HOW TO GET THERE: Fly directly from your home to Anchorage and spend the night. The next morning you will fly to Pilot Point on Alaska Airlines or Peninsula Airlines and on to camp by chartering our designated flying service. You are responsible for all charter costs to and from our main camp, which has averaged $300.00 per person, roundtrip from Pilot Point. The point of outfitting in this area is when you arrive at our base camp. An extra charter may be required if you take more than 50# of fish. Usually fish are released unless you want fresh fish for dinner, or would like to take home some salmon filets.
ITEMS FURNISHED: All camping equipment, food, boats, motors and bush airplanes used during the trip. All licenses will be purchased when you arrive in base camp. Some spinning fishing tackle is available for you to use at the lodge.
SERVICES FURNISHED: You will be personally guided by a licensed guide. You will be staying at our main camp, which has 2 client cabins, main cabin, guide cabin, shower house and meat shed/shop.
WEATHER: Windy and cloudy most of the time. Rain and snow 50% of the time. Temperature is usually 25-50 degrees above zero. You will be fishing in water that is about 40 degrees. Warm layered clothing and hip boots are required.
FISHING ACTIVITIES: You may start fishing as soon as you purchase your fishing license. Some of the best fishing is within walking distance from the lodge. The following day you may be taken by riverboat to different spots on the river, depending where the best fishing is at. Fishing is good throughout the fall, except during flooding. Then we fish smaller streams. Most fishing is done from the sandy banks or by wading in shallow riffles. Chest waders are not necessary, but if that’s what you normally fish in, that’s fine. Someone will be with you while you are fishing away from the main camp.

Please bring only small/medium duffel bags, no suitcases, commuter airlines charge for over 50#. Our super cubs are 1 passenger aircraft, with 50# of baggage, including your rod case. You will only need two sets of fishing clothes, plus your traveling clothes. If your gear requires an extra flight, there will be an additional $300.00 charge.
TERMS: A $1,000.00 (non-refundable) deposit is due at time of booking and the remaining portion of the one-third (1/3) deposit is due January 1st, the year the trip is to take place. A second deposit of one-third is required 120 days before your fishing date. The balance is due on arrival in base camp, in cash, traveler’s checks or certified bank checks only. Personal checks will be ONLY accepted for deposits. Your deposit is only refundable 120 days prior to your trip and in the amount stated in your contract. All checks drawn on banks outside the US are due 30 days prior to your arrival.
